Parsons encapsulates all the qualities of a great restaurant. The food, ambience, service and did I mention the food? Came here with a group of friends and immensely enjoyed ourselves with the lovely food that was plated. Just to mention a few favs being the chips... Omg the chips! The ribs were melt in your mouth, and the ice cream sandwich. We had a sticky date and quad choc ice cream sandwich. Sticky date being my fav, it was just delectable, and I hope they keep it on the menu for just a bit longer. Joe our waiter was very accommodating @and made our time at Parsons very enjoyable. Highly recommend Parsons.

Laid back small venue with a dedicated wait staff who really know their produce. Great small dishes for sharing, and a surprising dessert option that put a smile on our small party's faces.

Parsons is a laid-back small bar tucked away in a narrow side street of Kings Cross. Though mere minutes away from the station by foot, its location is shielded from the noise and rowdiness on the main streets. Plenty of outdoor seating so would be a great summer spot. Great list of drinks, tasty nibbles and fantastic service - we enjoyed Parsons so much, we returned twice in a night. Great happy hour specials to boot with $12 cocktails between 5pm - 7pm. Nifty little touches on the drinks: the Bacon Old-Fashioned came with a piece of caramelised bacon, the Marshmallow Duvet was topped with an oversized marshmallow blowtorched at the table. The chicken wings and whitebait were equally ace. Joe, one of the owners, was the consummate host; no off-the-menu drink was too hard and his recommendations were spot on. Parsons is a true neighbourhood gem and worth making a trek for.

Had a fabulous evening here on Saturday. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and quirky. The cocktails were sublime and perfectly balanced. I could go back every day for more they were so good! The food was presented with a flair akin to hatted restaurants yet priced very reasonably for the area and the effort involved. Decor and design was inviting, intimate and funky. Will definitely be returning!
