Caffe Roma - Potts Point

From the greeting, to the food on the table, this place is the best. I am from Italian heritage and I can assure you the food is authentic. The food actually looks better in reality than it does on the website. Price is great, portions are huge. Ambience is relaxed and comfortable. Very cosy. Will be my kitchen away from my kitchen. Amazing.

Unreal food! A real authentic Italian experience. Great ambiance, atmosphere, service and food. We’ve been to most in Sydney and travel to Italy a lot and this place is up there. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Danilo

A new favourite, we have been a number of times recently. The place is big on atmosphere, with a traditional Italian menu. We start with the bruschetta a simple tomato dish but so good. One serve has 4 large slices piled high with fresh tomato, olive oil and herbs so it’s big enough to easily share. Favourite dishes so far have been the Spaghetti Vongole with baby clams and white wine sauce and the Gorgonzola Speck Pizza. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the location. Inside the decor is dark and full of character. It can be noisy and whilst I quite like the fun, lively atmosphere, if restaurant noise is an issue for you, then opt for the outdoor patio seating. It is worth noting that you cannot book ahead. They only accept walk ins. Although this often means that you have to wait for a table, they organise it well. Staff make sure to greet you and keep checking back and forth and seating people as quickly as possible.

I highly recommend Caffe Roma for the best Italian food in Sydney. The food is delicious and the ambience is amazing. The owners and staff are delightful. great experience!!

Hubby and I had dinner here during our anniversary trip. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere perfect and the food was incredible. I highly recommend Cafe Roma
