Though mere minutes away from the station by foot, its location is shielded from the noise and rowdiness on the main streets. Plenty of outdoor seating so would be a great summer spot. Great list of drinks, tasty nibbles and fantastic service - we enjoyed Parsons so much, we returned twice in a night. Great happy hour specials to boot with $12 cocktails between 5pm - 7pm. Nifty little touches on the drinks: the Bacon Old-Fashioned came with a piece of caramelised bacon, the Marshmallow Duvet was topped with an oversized marshmallow blowtorched at the table. The chicken wings and whitebait were equally ace. Joe, one of the owners, was the consummate host; no off-the-menu drink was too hard and his recommendations were spot on. Parsons is a true neighbourhood gem and worth making a trek for.

Whatever the wonderful front of house staff suggest, TAKE IT!!! Every dish has been as good, if not better than described. So friendly, so welcoming, and so comfortable. I cannot rate this place highly enough! Thank you Parsons team, and see you soon!! xx
