Still the best value breakfast you 'll get anywhere, but sadly Apex Cafe will be closing in about a week. Not sure why (probably a part of the gentrification of King Cross), but there 's no doubt the down-to-earth charm will be sorely missed by locals and visitors alike. View all feedback.

This would have to be the cheapest hot breakfast place around. 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toast, 1 tomato for $6, add in the coffee and its marvellous. Very good service too, did not have to wait long either. Highly recommend.

Apex was a nice litte neighborhood cafe with exactly the right vibe for the Cross. Sadly they closed in April 2021 and are now gone..
