We found this lovely restaurant by accident, and what a find! The best Thai green curry with fabulous fresh ingredients and perfect rice. Lamb shank melting from the bone and king prawns pink and gorgeous. We needed a scrupulous super-sensitive gluten-free meal for one of our party, and that was "Too Easy!" A fine crisp house white with a hint of honey. We were welcomed as if we were family and met the talented chef... View all feedback.
This family run Thai restaurant is brilliant. Some slight service issues when they first opened have been dealt with. 5 star, home made dishes that leave the tast buds screaming for more. It really is the best Thai I ever had. The duck pancakes are a work of art and the stir fry chicken full of simple, clean & fresh flavours, perfectly balanced. The spare ribs are a very tasty surprise and even the money bags entree is delightful, though a bit hot to touch. Bernard is the owner and head waiter and his charming and talented wife taking on the head chef role very successfully. Don't turn up and expect 4 people to get thir mains all at the same time, this is like being invited to a private dinner party where each dish is brought out one by one and shared. It's worth the wait. Simple but goodwine list. Groovy location in the new dining hub of Potts Point, Llankelly Lane. Sit back, relax, enjoy and savour the top tastes of Amaya. You will be very glad you did.

I was really not sure what to expect when visiting this hidden gem in the now "hip" part of Llankelly Place, Potts Point. It is a small restaurant, yet that is the only sense of the word that can be used from here on in. The service was fantastic. Attentive, caring, and very courteous. The meal was without question, one of the best I have had anywhere in Sydney, in this past year - and one of the best Thai restaurants I have eaten at, and I have indeed sampled quite a few over the years. The style of food would be considered more contemporary, rather than the traditional menu that is found at most Thai restaurants. The flavours were delectable. The portions were very generous for the cost. The meal consisted of:- Prawn Tom Yum soup- Fish Cakes- Spring Rolls- Chicken Satay- Garlic Prawns- One other dish I cannot recallEvery single dish - and I really mean EVERY - was a hit. Walked out more full than a fat than a fat pig or fat duck. Loved every moment... and also met the namesake of the restaurant. They have scored two customers who will be going back often, as long as they remain there.Worth checking out when in this part of town.
After hearing how well-known Marseille is for pizza, my husband and I decided to seek out pizza during our stay.
Our first night in Marseille, and we managed to snag an outdoor table on a busy Saturday night.
