The new menu was a big hit for us. the young man who served us has always been there and is excellent.

Beautiful place, but service seemed somewhat chaotic and very slow. there were no menus available when we arrived, it took 40 minutes to get a drink and an out to just the appetizer. but we had a nice time

Valentinstag. it was the day after that, since we had a commitment on the day. the service was excellent. it was very quiet and welcoming. as there was a private party in the dining room, I was asked if I wanted to have a high table in the bar. I suspect they realized that the look at my face said that I had not made a reservation 4-5 weeks in advance to have a high table in the bar. So they found one standing in the bar, we had a nice time and would definitely go back.

Price fixed meal. Gourmet menu Top cook for Valentine's Day brought no warning about the $85 menu without other alternative eating was really delicious there were two full main courses the amount of food was excellent, but the first cure was very filled and the second cure was the same. Maybe a light first cure and a richer second cure that I congratulated through our waiter.

My family and I always enjoy Lock 72. The food is of very good quality, the ambiance is comfortable casual and it has a warm neighborhood feel to it. It is a DC quality restaurant without the hassle of going into DC.
