Absolutely fantastic experience! I asked the waitress to surprise me with a dish, and she did not disappoint—what a delicious combination of steak, chicken, and shrimp, along with beans and rice. Mmm! The waitstaff were very pleasant, and the service was outstanding. This is definitely one of the finest dining spots in the area.
We have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but our most recent experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor. We ordered a taco and an enchilada. The taco had only a small amount of meat, about the size of a pencil, and it barely tasted like meat at all. The enchilada was somewhat better, but still not great. The coffee was served cold, and the margaritas were flavorless as well. There were four of us in the party, and while the owner was very friendly, that couldn’t compensate for the poor food and service. There was only one waitress working on a Saturday night, which made for a slow experience. I'm concerned about how this restaurant will fare moving forward. On a positive note, there is plenty of parking available at the restaurant, which is located by a truck stop.
The staff are great but the owner was rude. I’ve ordered a steak fajitas and a vegetables was overcooked, black. My friend, he was a bartender, ordered double Jameson with a ginger ale and he said it was a less than one shot in the cocktail. When my buddy told him about the cocktail he excluded it from the check but when I said him about the overcooked food he just went away. Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been.
