The restaurant is far out of town but they have a service that will collect you from your hotel, but we had a quad so can't comment on this. The food was plentiful - really big servings of everything so we did order far too much and they didn't really warn us about his. But it is such good value you still spend less than a night in Pizza Express back home. The restaurant is very rustic in its atmosphere. Great all ro... View all feedback.
What Matilde Cruz doesn't like about Restaurante Adega das Levadas:
I had the highest expectations about this restaurant but it was a complete disappointment. Each meal dose is only enough for one person. We tasted "espetada". The meat is good but it is not different from any other restaurant. The price of all the products is extraordinarily overrated, not reflecting the desired and expected quality / quantity. We stayed in Porto Santo for 2 weeks in June and arranged the booking of this restaurant through our hotel. The people from the restaurant came and picked us up from the hotel and dropped us back afterwards. The location is fantastic and the barn conversation the restaurant is in is amazing. The owners are fantastic but do not speak much English but makes the whole experience even better.

Free transport from the hotel, despite the information from driver that only could take us back in a group. There's a need to improve the English. Only Portuguese is spoken. Do not recommend; there is better and cheaper in Porto Santo.
A terrific lunch! They come pick you up at your hotel and drive you to their beautiful, rustic restaurant (and back). You start with some very delicious Presunto (cured ham), cheese and homemade bread. Then you can choose from different kinds of grilled meats and fishes, that are served with the some very tasteful potatoes and vegetables, grown locally. And last comes the best Maracuja dessert we have tried in Porto Santo.Portions are big, service excellent and value for money outstanding.

This restaurant isn't close to town, but the typical food can't fool you. Very good standards and quality of food. The price is lower than beach side restaurants, but quality stands out.
