What User doesn't like about So Tapas:
we have kept up and had some hardships to find the place. We called 5 minutes after the agreed time to know that we were a bit later, but they didn't pick up. when we arrived, they told us that our table had already been very rudely handed away. not coming back here, unhappy. View all feedback.
With so many possibilities it is difficult to be the best tapas restaurant in Porto, but this place is decent and relatively cheap. The food here is all right, not to be drunk. I liked the garlic shrimp most. The Calamari were a little too salty for my taste, otherwise no problems. The restaurant itself is small, but cozy. The waitress was nice and friendly.
Really nice restaurant, you even have to book on Sunday night. The waitress was really nice, she said to enjoy my meal, even if there are people waiting for a table outside. You can feel and smell and hear that everything is homemade, really delicious!! Just to be aware: you must count a tax for each court, so the check will be more than you expect, but it is worth it for a good moment.
Really friendly and professional service. The young lady was very willing to help us choose the wine and explain everything to us. We had a great time here. Very friendly and romantic place with good food and wine: .
The food and service were excellent. I recommend the calfsal. It was seasoned and cooked for perfection. Thank you so much for eating so late and also for the great post-eating chat! See you soon.
The food was okay nothing special, looks nice but the octopus lacked flavour and taco was neither here nor there. The atmosphere was really nice, a family run small place. Yet the service meant that people were left outside waiting in the cold wet rain, when tables were free. As they hadn't cleared them for 30 minutes. Another problem is that they place bread, butter and olives on your table and then say if you want them you have to pay. Never seen this done in a restaurant before, and in my opinion it is done in poor taste.
