We have been this to the restaurant multiple times and the food is consistently good. The polvo salad is fresh and expertly prepared. The leitao sandwiches are fantastic! They have a little outside patio area which is good especially when the violin busker is playing! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Eloios Cafe Snack:
This was truly the worst meal we have had in Porto. I get the sense that many items are frozen and microwaved (or at least taste that way). Surely there are many better options, even for a cheap meal. For the record, we tried the suckling pig, the francesinha, a mixed salad and a kid's order of chicken. The matrons here are adorable and we rate the service highly. The food is basic but delicious. This is a small place, with basic tables, but as mentioned, the food was delicious and the matrons checked in on us to ensure our satisfaction. This is a very casual low-end place, but quite full portions and delicious.
As local as it gets , nice food , friendly people.
A lovely little local café with a very nice and pleasant woman running it. Great location, too. It's just not for breakfast. The egg, ham, and cheese sandwich is served cold, though on delicious bread. The breakfast selection is very limited, and the cappuccino was OK. The high ratings must be for other meals, such as lunch and dinner. It's come back to try that.
