Walking through Foz we went into the bar for a beer to avoid a rain showerand glad so say we stayed for a light lunchThe two young women who served us were very welcoming and attentive We had fried prawns and Salmon with Lime risotto and both were excellent A nice bottle of Planalto was a great addition to our experience Highly recommend View all feedback.
Very cool place. Great food and Tinto de Verrano. Had shrimp tacos and Vol au vents that were squares of meat and cheese wrapped in delicate pastry in a honey sauce. Most delicious ... we had two servings!!! Fettuccine was very good. Creme Brûlée was large enough for two. Gorgeous design of restaurant, very comfortable and chill atmosphere. Great service with multi lingual staff.
This restaurant was only steps from our rental so we tried it out. We sat inside, upstairs. No view due to location of the restaurant but the inside was cozy. We shared several appetizers, all of which were good. Drinks were also good.
Prices are very reasonable. The vegetables soup made my day. It was so delicious and satisfying. (2,5€ . Very crowded in the evening, you have to make a reservation or else you miss the dinner. Overall, a cozy place.
We came across Bar Tolo on the first night of our stay in Porto and ended up coming back for more on the last night. The Partridge Escabeche, Salt Cod Fritters and the Shrimp Acorda were the standout dishes but the Stuffed Mushrooms, Deepwater Garlic Shrip with French Fries, Padron Peppers and Tuna Tartare were all truly delicious especially washed down with good local wines. It’s one of those restaurants I’ll always remember.
