"The location in Porthleven is perfect, offering a beautiful view. The staff was incredibly friendly, including the bartender, waitress, and cook who served us tonight. My father and I visited for a Father’s Day celebration, and we both ordered the mussels. They were absolutely delicious—some of the best I've had, and my father agreed! The young staff were all cheerful and made our experience even better.".
Beautiful old pub, great choice, good service. excellent suppe, pea, ham, kale, pesto, poached ei, yes all in the suppe with beautiful focaccia. Favorite pub in corneall
First time in Porthleven so our first visit the the Ship that's been recommended to us by friends who have been visiting for years and we weren't disappointed! Staff are great and make you feel really welcome and are up for anything to make sure you have a good time. We were on a stag night and the manager felt we weren't making enough noise so he got us onto shots and then our other halves arrived on their hen night and the evening just got better and better! Brilliant..
A great little pub...full of character friendly welcome ...I had a little fall on entering and a couple of the locals quickly came to assist me and promptly found me a seat..(Thank you Guys) Food is fantastic ,we had the best fish and chips here,and all meals we saw being brought out looked amazing.. Nothing to fault and as we dont live to far we will certainly be going back..
Fantastic place, really friendly and welcoming! Great atmosphere, food and beer! Oh and the fire is fantastic!!
Superb location. Fantastic pint. Not tried the food but it looked and smelled gorgeous. Can't beat sitting outside on a summer evening with a pint of Porthleven. Bliss.
