I was looking for a good sandwich for lunch and stayed here on the basis of their menu I found online. It's not a subway dock-off. All meat and cheese are Boars Head and they cut the meat fresh. The bread is like a Cuban bread, and it is wonderfully good. I had the dominator (chicken, prosciutto, mozzarella with EVOO and balsamikum), which I thought was delicious and a bargain at $5.99 for the 6-inch. They had a good... View all feedback.
What Paul Starling doesn't like about Scoozi Pizza Locale:
Pros: Great pizza, good people Cons: They don’t advertise that their cannolis have nuts in them, so when I got home with our order, no one could eat them due to allergies. A total waste of nearly $10 that ended up trashed. : And price of toppings. Update: unfortunately this excellent pizza place has closed I was surprised by this restaurant. I didn't think much of it when I first saw it but finally decided to try it. The family that owns it are clearly proud of their product. After trying their pizza, they have every right to be. I typically dont love the pizza style (new haven style to some) theirs was excellent. They also have the small pepperonis and I like them better. They have a $10 special for two pieces and a coke. The slices were pretty big and fille me up. Everything is made from scratch and it shows.
There's a NEW PIZZA KING in PSL, after a great extensive search I have discovered Scoozi. I may have to indefinitely put off my summer body for this pizza. I think they original owners sold the place. Food quality has gone down.

Great pizza. Best crust. Favorites are the That's Amore and the vegetarian pizza. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Our go-to pizza in PSL!
