We drive form Toronto for the Afternoon tea which consists of a sandwich of your choice, your choice of scones and butter tarts, plus coffee or tea. We recently went to a bakery in the area that had won many awards for their butter tarts and found that the ones at The Pantry Shelf were much better. I came here to try the scones. I had the cranberry scone and a tea. Overpriced and only ok. The scone was very small and the tea was just a regular bag put into hot water. $4.00 and that was the special. I would give it another shot and try something else, but wouldn't recommend the overpriced scones. The server was not friendly at all. View all feedback.
Nice place for a mid-morning break. Server was friendly and attentive. Parking street side. Cash only.
During our visit to Port Perry around Christmas, we decided to have a light meal at a restaurant. Unfortunately, we felt we were treated very poorly by the staff when we asked for information. Despite both of us being fully vaccinated, including having our booster shots, the woman working there insisted on seeing photo ID. When we tried to provide our British driver's licenses, she rudely dismissed us and attended to a regular customer instead. We were put off by the poor service and chose not to give them our business. It would be preferable to find a nicer place to eat if you are not a regular customer at this establishment.
My sisters and I really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant this morning. The service was fast and the scrambled eggs and scones just perfect. We look forward to our next visit.
We decided to take a day trip to Port Perry and we wanted a quick lunch to enjoy by the lake. We stumbled across The Pantry Shelf . We all went in to for a brunch. While the service from our waitress was okay the...food on the other hand was ewwww. It was almost like it was microwaved especially the eggs. On a more positive note, the location is great..
