Dairy Queen - Port Perry

Definitely needs a good cleaning.Burgers are dry and small. Staff is inexperienced.For a respected franchise this location fails.

The blizzards are amazing, because it is ice cream. But every thing is over priced for what it actually is.

My daughter and I went there at the end of May to get food, ice cream for a ball tournament. The restaurant was understaffed to say the least, the orders were wrong BOTH days we went in, the lineup wait was over 15 minutes long both days, the staff were slamming the blizzards on the counter, the arctic rush machine was broken, 4 days later, still broken, and the drive through window was held open with a screwdriver. I wrote in and called in to head office on May 30, after 4 calls and now July 5th, the restaurant sends a mere email bs apology and offers a free meal. What a joke! A giftcard at the very minimum should have been offered. Do NOT go here, they get orders wrong and don't follow up. Very poor communication skills and TERRIBLE customer service. Don't go to this location, go to McDonald's instead.

My husband was at the drive through one day and watched them drop food on the floor and then pick it up and put it back with the fresh food.The other day we chanced a visit for a simple Blizzard. The people running this place are super cheap. Literally NO toppings in the Blizzard. It tastes like Reese, but it was thin, almost watery and NO TOPPINGS found in this expensive dessert treat. NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION. THESE PEOPLE WHO VALUE THEIR MONEY OVER ONTARIO HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS PLUS THEY DON'T FUFILL THE DAIRY QUEEN STANDARDS.

This is just your "run of the mill" Dairy Queen with one difference, the staff is very unfriendly. I had one of the worst experiences of my life when I asked for my change and was told "we gave it to you." First time I have ever felt like a criminal. We went through the surveillance video (for 20 minutes, it became the principle) and indeed I was correct, I had not been given my change. Ice cream had melted by then and I was never offered a replacement dessert! When the staff does not believe an old man about 2 dollars change, I don't need ice cream that badly! The ice cream was typical Dairy Queen by the way.
