When I visited on a Wednesday afternoon in December, I was surprised to find the bar bustling with activity at around 3 p.m., with only one table available. The lively atmosphere and the smiles all around were overwhelming. My in-laws told me that the Brass Rail Bar is beloved by many due to its rich history. After a period of closure, it has bounced back and is now packed every day of the week. We specifically went to try their Tom and Jerry cocktail, a local favorite during the Christmas season. While I can't recall the exact ingredients, they were absolutely delicious! I love that The Brass Rail is a family-run business, and it's clear that a lot of love and passion goes into it. I look forward to visiting this bar for many years to come—it's an amazing place!

I quite literally got the speak easy part when the female bartender or owner spoke very easily and rudely to my wife when she asked what was special. The absolute only charming aspect is the architecture, furniture, and craftsmanship. It's sad to see that part isn't highlighted. That you can barely see through the seemingly endless memorial of photographs claiming long ago some people thought this place was jamming, notice any fresh faces? This place could use a restoration.
