We have been to The Axe and Anchor several times and the atmosphere has always been great and most of our meals, appies and drinks have been quite good but tonight I had the meatloaf and it was phenomenal!! Although my partner had finished his meal before I received mine it was 10/10 worth the wait. The roasted veggies, velvety mashed potatoes and meatloaf all complimented each other perfectly. What User doesn't like about The Axe Anchor Pub:
Overall 3.5 stars, the service wasn't great our server seemed to be a bit spaced out and wasn't Super knowledgeable, we had to ask multiple times for waters and to go boxes. I was disappointed to hear that the fish is not fresh, for a restaurant on the water in a port town you'd kind of expect it. The food was pretty good overall though and the views where gorgeous, we would be back Food: 3 View all feedback.
What a beautiful Pub! Everything about it is stylish and sexy! The best view on Haida Gwaii and super fabulous food!!!
Good food, good service, check for live music dates. Beautiful views of Port Clements Bay.
Food wasnt bad nor over priced at all. Service was adequate but friendly. There is a bit of a padio to sit on.
The cod fish and chips were very good. The halibut was overdone. The view from the outdoor patio was lovely.
Great ocean views from the patio, and they make a delicious Caesar with wasabi-infused green bean garnish.
