The Axe Anchor Pub - Feedback

What User likes about The Axe Anchor Pub:
We have been to The Axe and Anchor several times and the atmosphere has always been great and most of our meals, appies and drinks have been quite good but tonight I had the meatloaf and it was phenomenal!! Although my partner had finished his meal before I received mine it was 10/10 worth the wait. The roasted veggies, velvety mashed potatoes and meatloaf all complimented each other perfectly. Overall 3.5 stars, the service wasn't great our server seemed to be a bit spaced out and wasn't Super knowledgeable, we had to ask multiple times for waters and to go boxes. I was disappointed to hear that the fish is not fresh, for a restaurant on the water in a port town you'd kind of expect it. The food was pretty good overall though and the views where gorgeous, we would be back Food: 3 View all feedback.
