The portions are enough to take home! Carne Asada was AMAZING! QUESTIONS, SEASONAL WELLS AND QUESTIONS FOR PERFECTIVE! The plantains were fried and the beans and rice were decomposable. I didn't like it. Their aren't any pics displaying the dishes. I am not big on extremely large pieces of onion and bell peppers or fried dried crispy strips of banana. there wasn't much to pick from their english skills were lacking but nice enough my husband and I stayed and enjoyed each other's company in conversation. Brought a strawberry lemonade made with coconut milk home. My 30 yr old son loved it. My kids and... View all feedback.
The was our first time trying this restaurant, so the waitress suggested a dish, which I am not sure what the name is but, it was spicy shrimp in a creamy butter sauce served with plantain, rice, beans, and a salad. The food was amazing! Don't be fooled by the look of the old building on the outside. The restaurant was spotless inside with comfortable seating. We will definitely be going back.
Had a wonderful experience for my first time there. The owner was warm and friendly and a blast to speak with. Everything is made fresh in house and since it was my first visit they let me try a few things more than what I ordered. Very wholesome time with authentic flavors, all made in a fresh and traditional way. I will be going back!
Fantastic place to visit and eat your heart. Harmonic atmosphere, friendly staff, and I really felt like I was back in my home. The food was lovely, I had Pescado a la tipitapa and it was exquisite! The fried fish is served in onions/green peppers and tomatoes, so if you love tomatoes, you will enjoy the dish. The Carne Asada was well marinaded and well seasoned, it tasted divine. Also the Jerk Chicken was extremely good, with a hint of spiciness, but not transmitted. What surprised me most and really enjoyed was her gallopinto flavored with coconut milk, which is a first for me because Nicaraguans in the Pacific did not cook so much, and I LOVED IT . The food portions are amazingly large and worth the price. I recommend this restaurant to those who want to explore unique Nicaraguan cuisine. I'll come back soon to try Rondón or Rundown. Thank you for giving us a great Nicaraguan experience, I am sincerely impressed. God bless you and your business, always!
