This is a great place to get almost anything if your undecided. As an Italian restaurant one would think that they only serve Italian, but they serve old school American dishes as well. Great food and service. View all feedback.

We were site seeing and just wanted a good lunch and not in a bar or pubWe saw Solda's just off the main road towards Tofino so we stopped.Nice place and very clean.We both had the daily soup and sandwhich special and it did fill us up but not one I would repeat again.Might go back another time and try something different View all feedback.
The Solda family's restaurant has come to a close after many decades of serving the Port Alberni community and visitors from around the world. We salute the Solda family for their dedication to the culinary arts and wish them a well-earned retirement.
Delicious food. Very reasonable prices. Amazing staff with very quick services.
Overall, I had a good experience at this restaurant. The staff was nice and friendly, and there was a decent selection of food available. I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
A few of us went to the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a delicious meal. Unfortunately, I heard that it has been sold and will be rebranded as Spice Hut starting next year. It has always been a wonderful place to dine, with delicious food and excellent service.
The food is delicious and the waitresses were friendly!! It was our first time but definitely not our last time. We will be back!!
