Noodlebox Port Alberni

The food at Scorching Hot was excessively spicy and not enjoyable. When I asked for a glass of water, it was refused with the explanation that they do not provide water. I ended up buying a soda, but even that did not help cool down the heat. I had to resort to drinking water from my own jug in the car. The staff member at the counter seemed inexperienced and lacked consideration for the customer's needs or knowledge about the food industry. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

This restaurant is always reliable and amazing. I love having one nearby. The negative reviews are just from people who don't understand the power of spice. If you can't handle the heat, simply order your food mild or less spicy.

I visited this restaurant on June 30th, 2022, just fifteen minutes before closing time. Despite the empty and spotless environment, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even though I felt guilty for ordering so close to closing. The food was excellent, and I appreciate the staff allowing my girlfriend and her friend to use the restroom. I can't remember the name of the young, fit chef who prepared my meal, but he truly went above and beyond. I will definitely make it a point to visit this restaurant again next time I am in town. The other chef and the two ladies working the front were also fantastic. Hopefully, Noodlebox recognizes their exceptional service and rewards them accordingly.

Tried them for the first time today, prices were a little higher than we expected. As they say the proof is in the pudding, the food was excellent very fresh, very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Best thing about this place is the fresh vegetables that go in to the noodles and rice dishes. Portions are large so consider sharing. Would recommend they flavour the Singaporean noodles a little bit more, it lacked seasoning, but the Thai flavoured noodles and the teriyaki noodles were amazing!
