Little Valley Deli - Port Alberni

My 86-year-old mother and I decided to check out the curry at Little Valley deli. I had not been for at least 10 years, so had never eaten any of their Indian dishes. We ordered the butter chicken and another dish and it was amazing. I've eaten in many Indian restaurants, and there are certainly some which are better than others. For a small, unassuming, quiet little restaurant, we were blown away by the great service and the fabulous food. We will be back for sure.

I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that serves fresh and delicious curry. I ordered takeout and was pleased to see they used paper containers instead of styrofoam. The prices were reasonable and the servings were generous, including rice and salad.

Worst experience of my life. I ordered a $12 Veggie sanwich on sourdough, when i went to eat what i opened the box to was a 50 cent wonder bread special that was prepared by a 6 year old. There was no avocado and no red onions, few non sliced but chunks of cucumber, kraft single cheese, and the rest was a clump of old nasty looking tomato. i immediately threw it in the garbage and i will never be back.
