The lastnight I had the roast dinner. I chose chicken, it was great and I had Yorkshire pudding for the first time.

This is a very pleasant pub in a quiet area. It 's in Hamworthy, part of Poole. Hamworthy is mentioned in the Domeday Book but Poole isn 't. The Yachtsman is so... read more This is a very pleasant pub in a quiet area. It 's in Hamworthy, part of Poole. Hamworthy is mentioned in the Domeday Book but Poole isn 't. The Yachtsman is so called because it 's near a marina. It does good food, although I 've not had much to eat there myself. It seems fairly popular and is the 'local ' for quite a big area. Gets my vote over some other pubs.

We used to go there every week for a family meal but now i will not use the pub untill they sort themself out.. Seriously wouldnt recomend going there for a meal

It seems like the management is not quite aware of what's going on.
