Rancho Steak - Poole

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. As soon as we were seated, we were brought a bowl of delicious chips. Our drinks came quickly, and the staff even made mocktails for us upon request. The food was excellent, especially the outstanding and tender steaks. The portions for children were also very reasonable. The owner was incredibly cheerful and kind. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Both Martian and Harry (staff and owner) were very kind and efficient. Overall, it was a great dining experience and a delightful place to have dinner!

I'll try to keep this brief. My original order was not available, so I had to change it, which was fine at first. However, when my steak arrived, I discovered a hair on it. I alerted the waiter, who simply transferred the steak to a different plate and expected me to eat it, which I refused. A new steak was prepared for me, but it was so rare that I could only describe it as still alive. The chef should consider a different career path, as their cooking skills are lacking. The service standards here seem to have dropped. The only positive aspect were the two waitresses who were trying their best, but it's hard to serve low-quality food. On the bright side, the wine was good. I've attached a photo of how I cook my own steak, so I expect better when dining out.

My family of 7 went out to celebrate a birthday at this restaurant. It was nearly empty and the service was very poor. We had to request for our table to be cleared after waiting for over 30 minutes once we finished our meals. I had to go to the bar where one employee was so focused on her phone that she didn't acknowledge me until another coworker alerted her to my presence. It took a long time for our desserts to arrive and again for us to receive our bill. None of the staff appeared to be interested in serving us and seemed like they didn't want to be there. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we do not plan on returning.

Another friendly visit as always. Popped in on last Wednesday…had a few large parties in and the atmosphere was welcoming as always. Food tasted lovely and the ribs tender as always. Waited no more then 15/20 mins for food. Booked in for our new years roasts. Thanks again

Where do I start!! They can not cope with bigger parties! We were a group of 14. We ordered drinks at the bar with one waitress who then disappeared without making our drinks, we ordered again with another waitress and was charged there and then! At the end when we were paying the initial first drinks that we didn’t receive we’re on the bill and she questioned if I’d actually paid for them I literally had to show her my banking app for the transaction! 2 burgers were so burnt they were not edible!! By then we had waited an hour for our food and everyone else was nearly finished so didn’t see the point in ordering again to wait another hour. Left for an extended amount of time before they actually brought out the cake. Seems the place is run by a very young people who have little customer service skills or knowledge Just to add it was not busy about 5 tables in total Shocking definitely won’t be going again
