Feedback
I go down to poole quite regularly, a really nice area, and have stopped off here a few times in the past for a portion of chips, and have never had a bad experience.
I used to use this takeaway all the time on my way home from work, but not for about 6 weeks. I went there today with the family and it was terrible. Turns out they don't do kids portions, but I can live with that. I ordered a pineapple burger and luckily checked when I got outside as they had literally just put a bit of pineapple in a bun! Lol. When I raised it with then it was as if I was the idiot... When I got home I also noticed they didn't put the drink I ordered in the bag. Not a happy customer today
Only wanted something quick and easy to eat and we walked past here and decided to give it a try. Not bad chips at all not too pricey you do sometimes get chippy's being stupidly expensive but was reasonable. Service was polite and we had freshly cooked chips so couldn't argue with that.
I asked for cod and chips, no idea what type of fish I was given, it was awful. Not even cheap. I have not tried anything else from the menu, because the fish, or whatever it was put me off going back.
I came here after a long day (I was very hungry). I've been here previously to get me some scallops but they were really chewy, I had the impression that they were reheated. Today I was told that I was waiting on my kebab, I thought that was OK as my food should be fresh. I came back after 10 minutes and the young girl that served me done brilliantly and she gave me a good portion. I got in my car, opened the tray and tucked in. My chips tasted really bad, probably the worst chips I have tasted in my life. They were dark, burnt, bitter, chewy and really greasy. The donner meat had a smell to it and looked dry, and the other 2 types of chicken kebab were luke warm and bland. I ate 2 chips and a few pieces of chicken and chucked the rest in the bin outside the shop.
