My friends and I visited a restaurant in Bournemouth on a Sunday after celebrating a birthday party. The Jazz cafe, formerly known as Jazzys, had a live Jazz quartet performing for diners in a cafe setting at 1pm. The restaurant has recently been expanded for the summer season, although we missed out on a table with a view of the seafront. We ordered our food at the bar and it was brought to our table. The prices were reasonable, with the moules mariniere costing £10.00 and served with chips. However, the drinks were quite expensive, with a small bottle of diet coke priced at £3.75. The atmosphere was relaxed and there were children in the restaurant, along with the lively Jazz music, making it a bit noisy. Despite this, we all enjoyed our meals and found the staff to be attentive. I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future.
We ordered a cake and coffee at this terrible cafe and were disappointed to receive a moldy, stale cake and two small glasses of coffee at an exorbitant price. The manager and waiter were very rude, and we left feeling humiliated and uneasy. I can't even imagine how bad the meals would be. Do not eat or drink here - look for another cafe instead. Be warned.
This local restaurant is a must-visit for jazz lovers! With live jazz performances on Sunday mornings and Friday nights, it's the real deal. The music is top-notch, the coffee is great, and they even have an open fire during the cold months. Located in a fantastic spot, this place not only allows but welcomes you to enjoy the experience. Don't miss out on this gem!
