This small, charming café appeared to be a nice local spot, and the staff were indeed very friendly. However, we ended up waiting an hour for a basic breakfast that only came with one slice of bacon instead of the two listed on the menu. The explanation given was that they were cooking multiple tables' breakfasts at once, which may be more efficient for them but was highly inconvenient for us since we had a prior appointment to attend.
The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly. The food was delicious and served hot. It was very fresh and provided great value for the price.
I have been visiting this restaurant on Saturday mornings for the past few months and I must say it is the best breakfast you can find in Dorset after trying many others. The food is served hot and plentiful, and although I haven't tried the cargo challenge yet, I hope to do so one day! The coffee is excellent and the staff are very friendly.
