Menu

Here you will find the menu of Boatyard Cafe in Poole. At the moment, there are 29 menus and drinks on the list.

Nestled in a charming locale, this cafe/bar offers a vibrant atmosphere, but recent visits reveal a striking contrast in service and quality. While some guests rave about delightful meals and attentive staff, others lament slow service, forgotten orders, and subpar food, including issues like moldy burgers. Notably, experiences can vary dramatically based on the chef and staff present, influencing diners' enjoyment. Despite some negative interactions, the cafe has potential, especially for casual coffee seekers. Overall, while it presents a promising setting, patrons should brace for inconsistency in food and service, especially during peak times.

Was Bro44 at Boatyard Cafe a mag?
Our first visit since it reopened as Lazy Jacks was on a Saturday evening. The place was buzzing with a much younger vibe than before and great new decor. It was warm so we sat out on the deck. Pizzas were excellent. The wait staff were great but my only criticism would be they were a bit run off their feet and could do with some help. As a result service was a little slower than it should be View all feedback.

What Sjc997 dislikes about Boatyard Cafe:
Lazy Jacks is a refreshed restaurant located in a boat yard. Great decor with good food and wine options and sea glimpses. Like most restaurants they are clearly struggling with staff to provide a service standard reflected in the price of their food and drinks. View all feedback.

It’s a nice looking venue and the staff are friendly. We ordered breakfast c £10 each and mine came without the avocado key ingredients , which was rectified they changed the muffin to round cut bread and the eggs were very over cooked.

Friendly staff; nice atmosphere; food, drink and accommodating to all (including the 'other ' family member, i.e. your dog . Ben and I were very pleased to find a truly dog friendly location on the peninsula! We 'll be back, most definitely. Thank you for a lovely lunch and an equally lovely welcome. Would recommend for you and your four-legged friend :

Once a favourite breakfast venue, today 's visit with our weekend guests was disappointing. The waitress was argumentative. Maybe some training needed? Eggs overcooked. Chef using his hands to serve food. Will not be rushing back. Too many other places to chose from to 'wow ' my guests.

We live nearby and wanted a quick light lunch with our daughter and child. We booked a table to ensure a high chair and staff were very helpful. The place is small but fine out of season. Our granddaughter played happily and they warned her food. Adult food fine and reasonably priced. Good for a coffee or drink as well.

Location is delightful because it’s away from the crowds but there is a la k of attention to detail here. I get the fact that this is boatyard and they wanted to beach out and make more money, but there is no wow factor which there so could be. Why not offer exceptional bread/toast rather than ordinary and instead of bringing a tea bag with hot water to the table (allowing it to cool), how about putting it in the water so that it can benefit from steeping? In fact, how about a really high quality tea rather than the ordinary if charging relatively high prices?
