very good reception by the boss and all the staff. Original and fine concept. The meat (sweet in this case) was excellent and serving it with 4 different spices to put ourselves according to our taste is original. delicious risotto and grilled vegetable also. Nice frame also and grapa 12 years old scratches the throat but closes the meal in beauty. The uncommon limoncello was a pleasant surprise for the lady, and we w... View all feedback.
We ate very well in the gianottis on that summer evening in August 2017. the meat - a bark gypsiess with chimichurri sauce, ofenkartoffeln, grilled vegetables - and much more, was excellent. the service was very friendly and accommodating. and that was only too reasonable to praise. we're coming back! something small would be recommended: the light was so careless that you find the mouth almost no longer. Well, I'm exaggerating. eating so loses its effect. the opposite also in the dark distance, and the tiredness is more quickly established after a long wandering. so please: slightly brighter! merci.
It is my first time in this restaurant in Pontresina, after almost a decade of holidays in Engadina. Although the company I went with was not so pleasant, the restaurant compensated egregiamente. the menu, even if not rich at lunch, showed up to a real good local, the quality of the food and their quantity is certainly high, and higher than many others that perhaps boast high levels. the wine card is good and rich. prices are as high as in the whole valley. we ate risotto with prosecco and green apple and fillet of lamb in the oven (excellent.) glass wine. good dessert. We came there twice so much we were warm good cooking good smiling service meat at the topchouette !
Although it is not expected grilled meat at lunch, the kind and effective waitress informed with the chef and we could serve an excellent fillet of lamb. particularly recommended place, with very interesting wine paper.
This is one ot the newer restaurants in the Engadin and comes with a fresh and modern, yet cozy interior. There is a relaxed ambience without the champagne crowd, but still a more upscale place for dinner. The menu has a wide choice with meat, pasta and other vegeterian options. We found the prices very reasonable. The guests are couples and friends of all ages, we didn't see any families. The place is very popular, a reservation for dinner in winter season is a must. Would absolutely eat here again.
