The cod is put in front of a fire so it cooks very slowly instead of over it. This is most likely the reason that you need to have a reservation. Going there without one is risky. As an entree they brought a local sausage. Deliciously tender and tasty. It is a few km away from Viana de Castelo, but definitely worth the trip, also bring a big apetite.
