**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Despite some diners finding joy in the food and atmosphere, many others were left disappointed by unsatisfactory meals, ranging from bland and unappetizing dishes to unsettling experiences of foodborne illness. While a few praised the friendly service and generous portions, the inconsistency of the food quality and the owner's rude demeanor tarnished the overall impression. Patrons expressed concern over the restaurant's future, as signs of closure loomed. The bright spots included an exceptional bartender and moments of camaraderie among regulars, hinting that while there are redeeming qualities, significant improvements are needed to ensure a positive dining experience.

Food was consistent with what we have had in the past and just what we wanted. Wait staff was friendly and brought us our water but didn't bother us over and over. If you want something like chopsticks you should ask the first time because you probablywon't see them again until you get the check.
Portion is huge. If I had known how big it was we would have ordered one meal. I think if they changed to half portion with the price it would be perfect. Overall the waiter was nice and the food came out fast. The food was good as well.
The only redeeming part of this experience was a kind waitress and host. The meals came out in about 3 minutes, and the vegetables on both meals were raw (giant pile of celery) or from a can (warm but not sautéed). The chicken in both seemed ?off?? funny taste/appearance, and both dishes were flavorless. Mine was in a strange white gooey sauce. We only ate a couple bitesbefore politely requesting to speak to a manager. The manager came to our table and did not listen to our calmly statedconcerns; she immediately began pointing and raising her voice to tell us that they only use fresh vegetables, no canned(obviously this was not true). She the proceeded to loudly insist that we should not have ordered the two meals, that we shouldhave only ordered one if it is too much for us. She refused to so much as discount the meals. We did not eat or take our meals, paid for our ticket, and left with me in tears. Especially with my husband sick to his stomach within a few minutes and only acouple bites of chicken, I am thankful we ate no more. It was the single worst restaurant experience I have ever had, which issad because the other staff was so kind. Unfortunately I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant toanyone. UPDATE: My husband got food poisoning ? still sick three days later. It was definitely the chicken that made him ill. We should have just walked out but felt morally uncomfortable about that option. At this point I highly regret paying for sucha pricey, atrocious meal.
The food was terrible, bland, and awful. Vegetables were hardly cooked and obviously looked like they were not fresh. I asked to speak to the owner to see if we could just not eat our food and possibly have it discounted and she was extremely rude to myself and my wife and started ranting about how we shouldn’t have ordered what we did and everything was fresh. I didn’t want to argue so I paid and left. Would never recommend this place. I will say the service staff was very nice however.
