**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Despite some diners finding joy in the food and atmosphere, many others were left disappointed by unsatisfactory meals, ranging from bland and unappetizing dishes to unsettling experiences of foodborne illness. While a few praised the friendly service and generous portions, the inconsistency of the food quality and the owner's rude demeanor tarnished the overall impression. Patrons expressed concern over the restaurant's future, as signs of closure loomed. The bright spots included an exceptional bartender and moments of camaraderie among regulars, hinting that while there are redeeming qualities, significant improvements are needed to ensure a positive dining experience.

The food was average. We ordered the family meal. It didn’t feel seasoned all that well. It was about $15.50 per person for it, not bad but higher than other places we’ve been to, but it was a lot of food. Due to the pandemic, they took our order and delivered it to our car while we waited. Unfortunately, they didn’t give us chopsticks but that seems to be the norm so we used the forks we keep in the car.
Was fast, it was $15 for each box of rice..yeah $30 for two lil boxes of rice and meat. So: the BBQ pork in my china gate fried rice tasted like it was cold before or like It was reheated a couple times in a microwave or something you know what I mean? Oh, also I got the shrimp 's on the side bc my Mom is allergic and so I ate some of them out of one of 'the on the side ' containers sadly the morning after I did I was vomiting bile from both ends all day and night. Pepto and whole milk were the only thing to help. I didn 't eat anything else after I ate the shrimps which is why I 'm going to assume it was then. Hurray for food poisoning. . With that being said I 'll probably find a new place to get my mom 's birthday dinners from.
We had a wonderful time stopping here. It’s disappointing to see the real estate sign; I hope it doesn't mean the place is closing. The girls we met at the bar downstairs were lovely. Michele is an exceptional bartender!
Food was consistent with what we have had in the past and just what we wanted. Wait staff was friendly and brought us our water but didn't bother us over and over. If you want something like chopsticks you should ask the first time because you probablywon't see them again until you get the check.
