The member of staff who took out order didn’t even greet us with an hello when we sat down, just grunted and punched the order into his tablet. No hope of getting a second drink, the staff were no where to be seen and when we did go to the bar to actually ask, that did nothing to help, there was no apology and still no opportunity to order a second drink. The staff need to be more alert and attentive to their customers given the so called quality of the hotel. Very disappointed as I always look forward to visiting every time I visit.

We ate and drank here and can recommend both. We loved this bar so much we are going to stay in the hotel next year too.

Yes... it is in a fantastic location, ideal for watching the sunset over the m... read more We have been visiting this bar for over 15 years every spring, summer and autumn. Yes... it is in a fantastic location, ideal for watching the sunset over the mountains looking across the bay, and, yes, the staff are friendly and, yes, they do bar snacks but...! This year it’s changed management... again! We ordered a g&t and a glass of blush wine with ice. The wine barely reached halfway up the glass including two large blocks of ice and the gin was a seriously small measure... and for that we paid over 16 Euros! The ice was free! The hotel bar has always been expensive comparatively but the measures were reasonable. It’s so disappointing when an iconic location goes downhill!
