The first time the young waitress acted like she really couldn't be bothered... read more We had breakfast at this bistro on two occasions because it was close to our hotel. The first time the young waitress acted like she really couldn't be bothered. We ordered coffee and croissants which arrived fairly quickly but that was probably because we were the only customers there. The second time we had breakfast there the young waiter serving us had the same miserable demeanour as the young waitress. This time there were a few other customers but by no means busy, but waited 30 minutes and nothing arrived. I asked the waiter when our food would be served and was told he would bring it when it was ready. We waited a further 10 minutes before it arrived. Obviously we didn't go back again.

Initially, we just went there for a drink, but ended up having several meals there. Not only was it convenient, but the food was great, the service efficient and the staff friendly.

We had drinks here in an evening too and... read more We had an English breakfast in The Store and couldn’t fault it. It was delicious and the service we received was good. We had drinks here in an evening too and didn’t have an issue with any of the service. It well worth a visit if you are on the far end of the pine walk. It’s just one block back and a refreshing retreat.
