We both had the lamb shoulder after so many peoples positive experience The Venus was lovely. A typical mallorcean restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. The lamb was to die for and a very reasonable price. So far the best I’ve eaten in the port. My husband went on to have the almond cake with almond ice cream. It was excellent We’ve also been for lunch. I had sardines. They are difficult to come by in Puerto Pollensa and so it was a treat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Good solid food not fine dining but that's not what it is about. Tasty, varied. Value. Service. Great. Been going to Coral Bar for many years. I remember it when it was just a bar they hd I think just started food, though you hd to order a day or two before. Aina and Jordi have kept the family tradition going

The Bar Coral is tucked away on a small side street at the end of the commercial bit of the Pine Walk. It doesn’t seem to have any connection with the Restaurant Laroc on the opposite side of the street, in spite of the name. Coral/Laroc – geddit? There was bread, olives and alioli to nibble on while we read the shortish menu of tourist staples. Squid rings were perfectly tender and came in a light, crisp coating. The last of the alioli was there for dunking. Trampo was the usual chopped salad in a tangy dressing. We both went with fillet steak with tumbet. It was poor. The steak, whilst accurately cooked as requested, had little flavour, even for fillet. And the tumbet was a travesty. Overcooked, underseasoned mush, layered up with what may well have been a sweetish industrial tomato passata bought in from the catering wholesaler. There was nothing of the freshness of a well made version, where you can taste each individual vegetable. Not a place to return to. There are many better places round the Port.

Just off the main restaurant area, this is a gem. Lamb house speciality is sublime, it’s all very reasonably priced. Many items all homemade incl the Cheesecake which was fabulous.
