Staff helpful and friendly and even advised us that we were ordering too much! A selection of tapas was very generous, the pica pica squids was tasty. The olives were pungent and sharp, possibly home preserved. Shared mains, shoulder of lamb was falling from the bone and the parmentiere potatoes were well done. Chose the stuffed aubergine also thinking it was vegetarian...wrong mincemeat with a tomato sauce. Red Rioja was exceedingly good value at €5:50, espresso great too. We were the only tourists...

If you wan... read more We went to Bar Cifre about 3 times and once for a coffee, the lady who has it, it's just lovely, very reasonable prices and the food is really great. If you want a Gin and some Tapas, then this is for you, also once we were there and ordered the large toasted sandwich, my goodness it was hugh, you would be able to share it and then some, see photo of one of my daughters grappling with it! Excellent cafe, highly recommended!!
