Contribute Feedback What Michael G doesn't like about Green Planet Coffee Co.:
For the love of god the thrift store patio furniture needs to go. All of the outlets are in areas that make working on my laptop uncomfortable. Such a waste of space inside. No one who works remote can comfortably do work from here and I guarantee you’d see more consistent business if that were the case. Owners are out of touch and determined to do bare minimum View all feedback.
First time this summer. If you want a quiet spot for a morning drink, do work, etc... this is it! Friendly atmosphere.
Solid cup of coffee. does what it has to do. great vibe. nice plants
Orion is the best! Always a pleasure seeing Luke Hughes every day! Even though he refuses to admit it
Updated9.15.2022 On a recent visit I ran into the owner of Green Planet. When asked, he stated the business hadn't changed hands in more than 6 years. I found out later Green Planet in fact did get a new owner about the time the service started to slip. To be fair, this was also about the time of COVID. One of the employees getting ready to resign said the owner is impossible to work for. From rudeness to lack of interest along with several other things not to be mentioned. Green Planet started with a bang. Friends would gather at night to listen to music and drink well made coffee drinks. Today you drive by at 4pm and the building is locked up tight. So I'll have to enjoy the 8 minute ride to main street in Manasquan where you can still get a fantastic coffee drink along with great snacks. Original review: Slip Sliding. Since opening, Green planet has always been a favorite spot of mine to drop buy, hang out and enjoy a coffee. The faces of the staff hardly ever changed. This is always a good sign for any hospitality business. But since COVID? Green Planet seems to have lost their hold on the basics. The coffee or coffee preparation has changed. The last two $5.00 cups of latte I tossed in the garbage just outside the door. The food items taste like they are dated and possibly straight from one of the warehouse clubs. But most importantly the new staff that I have experienced seem to have an attitude of as long as there is something in a cup without making you wait to long, everything is fine. I hope Green Planet can find some better staff and regain some bounce in their step. This is a great location and business. It is just struggling based on what it used to be?
Unfortunately this place needs some TLC it was dirty! Needs new furniture. But the man working there was very nice and recommended a drink I really liked.
