We were in a road trip from Salt Lake City and Stoped at Pocatello; Breakfast was great and delicious; customer service was friendly and awesome ; place is charming and pretty close of freeway and shopping center My whole family enjoyed having mealover here; Definitely recommend this place to enjoy great fresh food and to support locals
I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant! Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was delicious. My husband and I ordered steak and eggs; he chose hash browns while I opted for home fries. He requested his steak rare, but it came out medium rare, and I asked for medium rare, which was closer to well-done. Nevertheless, it was still quite tasty! The place was busy, but our waitress made sure to give us plenty of attention. They even provided a coloring book and crayons for our three-year-old son to keep him entertained while we waited for our food. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but it lacked a changing area for our 7-month-old. Overall, a nice dining experience!
I was very disappointed with the quality of the food and won't be returning. The only positive aspect was our waitress, Stormy, who was kind and polite. We started with a breakfast sandwich (see photo), which was both small and dry for the price. The hash browns and bacon were decent, and those were definitely the highlights of the meal. However, I cannot recommend the pancakes; they were dry and lacked flavor, leaving me unimpressed. Overall, it wasn't a good value for the money. Our visit was primarily because "Jumbos" was closed for the day due to some work on the grease trap, and "Abracadabras" was also unavailable due to roof repairs, so we ended up here as our third choice out of desperation. We had tried this place a couple of years ago, and given that it was our last resort, we decided to give it another shot, which turned out to be a mistake.
I absolutely love this restaurant! Everything is homemade with real ingredients, from the jams and whipped cream to the salsa and meals. The service is consistently outstanding. They even gave us extra dinner rolls for the kids at no extra charge. The portion sizes are reasonable for the price. My only complaint is that there are too many options on the menu!
This restaurant, while not entirely vegetarian, provides more than just a salad bar for those seeking veggie options in town. The diner has a charming 60's vibe that adds to the overall experience. Their menu features a dedicated vegetarian section with appealing choices such as homemade veggie lasagna, lentils and rice, cheese ravioli with eggplant parmesan, fried zucchini, salad or soup, and garlic bread. The portions are generous, and the eggplant dish stood out as particularly delicious. Although the service was a bit slow, it appeared they were training new staff. Overall, we will definitely be coming back. My husband, who doesn't usually favor vegetarian food, really enjoyed his meal, which speaks volumes since he's quite the foodie. The food was tasty, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I will certainly recommend this place to any vegetarians I meet in the area. While I would have rated it a full 5 happy cows, the site only allows a maximum of 4 cows for non-vegetarian restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
