Whenever my family and I find ourselves in the area across from Pocatello, we always love dining at Portneuf Valley Brewing. It's my grandson's top choice, and it's been his favorite restaurant for years, ever since he was 15. As a grandfather, I have my own reasons for loving it beyond just the food. What User doesn't like about Portneuf Valley Brewing:
we called a reservation for a party of 40. they told us there were enough food for everyone who cost = $600. we got up with a hungry football team. they had 1 bowl salad and 3 dishes pizza. the cost per tablet on their menu are $32. they give us $140 worth eating for $600! each individual person has hunger. we have no drinks, oh, they are not included. our parents must argue with the management to get more eating for... Stopped in after a little suggestion by Trip Advisor. Ordered food to go along with a growler. The Hefe was very smooth. So yummy! Everyone liked their food and I was really surprised at how delicious the mushroom soup was. Food was prompt and on time. Workers easy to chat with and friendly.
I just had the smoked salmon salad (w/Dijon vinaigrette) it was fabulous. I am just passing thru Pocatello and will be here only one evening so happy that I picked such a great place to eat! Also, it is I very cool looking place as well. A real treat!
Great food, Awesome beer highly recommend the grog. Just one of those places you love to come and chill.

Awesome food, awesome beer awesome people! I highly recommend this off the beaten path pub. I can't wait until my travels take me back thru Pocatello so I can enjoy this place again.
