Dreadful meal and poor service. Ordered a starter of 5 scallops, dish arrived with 3 scallops. Ordered Fish and chips, but fish batter was pale and insipid and chips under cooked. Catch of the day main meal was small in size and cost £25, which wasn’t stated on the menu. Fabulous and tasty local independent seafood and rum community. used own boats to fold fresh fish. defo recommend! and the painkiller cocktail with pussers around is delish.
Well, for a while we were the only ones there but our stoic host entertained us with great enthusiasm so it didn’t matter! Food was excellent and a good time was had by all (4) of us. This is an excellent establishment and I’m sure it will be busy nearer Christmas and every evening!
A lovely friendly and welcoming venue. The staff can't do enough for you, the food is exceptional. I would suggest that if you like fish and seafood, plus Rum and or cocktails, you book a table and try it! The menu choices are unique and the chefs are masterful in making the humble fish taste amazing, without breaking the bank account.
As always fantastic food, drinks and service! A must visit in Plymouth.
A good menu, the fish was very dependable as usual. The Scallops are DELICIOUS, every time I visit I always order them. Good service, a great Christmas tree.
