Enjoying a lunch at this restaurant was a delightful experience. The price per person ranged from £30 to £40. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their Sunday Roast, Duck Confit, and Sticky Toffee Pudding dishes. View all feedback.
What Tessa Brown doesn't like about The Fig Tree 36:
We wanted to try a local independent restaurant instead of one of the chains in Royal William Yard, however it probably wasn’t the right choice for us (couple with a young child). The service was good and attentive and we appreciated the good value children’s meal, however the ambience of the restaurant and price of the rest of the meal were disappointing. The 2 course meal pricing works if you are ordering expensive... View all feedback.
This is a hidden gem, they should try at least once because they don't know what their missing. from the warm welcome to the sad farewell the experience was absolutely fantastic! and the eating was tasty and out of this world were tanya and amy very attentive and a beautiful atmosphere, this will be a more regular for us now.
A fantastic evening on Saturday for my friends surprise proposal/engagement party. The owners all the staff were wonderful attentive nothing was ever too much trouble. My steak was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious. I will be bringing my husband back to sample the menu. Also have to say thank you so much for catering for my allergy. I could enjoy my meal without worrying.x
Best food I've had in plymouth! Highly recommend!!! Especially the peanut butter brownie! . Fantastic ambience and service. Will definitely be going back!!!
Omg, with caroline quest and hannah nettleinghame for a nice dinner in 'the fig tree 36' and I think I found a little heaven! the location was idee, the setting intimate with the most amazing service, it was attentive, but not in her face. and if you know me, I am a sticker for good service. we ordered the 3 course set menu and it was not disappointed. in the did the pudding was so beautiful that I had no chance to make a picture before it was down or stealing! the appetizers were stuffed pork and asian fish cakes for which to die. the fish cakes were a taste explosion in my mouth. only enough for me to want more. the net of feta and aubagine tart, a beautiful steak burger (it looked huge in real life! with triple cooked chips and my carbonara two possibilities. the carbonara was right with a light smokey, creamy, sweetness. and the baked carbonara with its crispy coating has a nice task to compensate for the meal. as for pudding the amazing creamy of lemon and lime marscapone in a light crispy tocuit fall and dressed with the perfect meringue. sensational! if they haven't been there yet, I recommend to them to find it now.
Where should I start? eating was amazing, it was probably the best wobble bahji, burger and whisper I ever tasted. the whisper was only the heaven. it included a melt in the middle choc pot next to waben, brownies, chic biscuits and caramel sauce! the burger was not just a burger. it was a fig tree 36 burger. you will know when you were there. also the hospitality and service was amazingly very attentive and safe service was fast and punctual. Many thanks that they can not wait for me and my partner to visit again! Finally, it is to be noted that they have a faithful card where they can get a desert free on their 6th visit.
