Contribute FeedbackPizza Express in Plymouth is a great choice for a relaxing visit, with clean surroundings and delicious food. Booking ahead is recommended, as the evenings tend to be busy. While service can be fast, occasional understaffing can cause delays. The American hot pizza is a must-try, and getting a table by the window enhances the experience. For those in a rush, be cautious of time constraints. Overall, a pleasant spot to dine for a quick meal or for a leisurely day out in Plymouth.
The customer service at this restaurant is outstanding. It has a cozy atmosphere that gives a personalized experience. The friendly team welcomed us warmly. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they offer more than just pizza.
I and my family visited this Pizza Express since we moved to Plymouth 10 years ago when the idea of a stylish night out of town was a long hot dog in Captain Jaspers. We've never had a buffet, the staff is always friendly and professional and his only place where I always liked to leave a big tip. A few niggers: for some reason it can often get cold; and the puddings are very expensive. We always bribe the children with the promise of an ice cream from a local openallhours instead of paying an ugly price for a (unreliable delicious) pizza express doll.
I have never had a bad experience at this Pizza Express location. It is situated just outside the city center and is always clean and tidy. The service is quite good and the staff is cheerful and friendly. I do agree with another reviewer that they can be understaffed at times, but this is common in busy restaurants. The food is delicious, especially if you love pizza. I recommend starting with a shared appetizer before trying their pizzas. I can't remember the name of the pizza I had, but it had an egg in the middle and tasted fantastic. Overall, it is worth a visit, but it may not be the best choice for families in my opinion, as the atmosphere is more suited for adults. I think children might enjoy Pizza Hut more.
We are frequent customers of this unique pizza place, which is very clean both in the dining area and the restroom. Lunchtime is usually quiet, but evenings can get very busy so it's best to make a reservation. We usually start with dough balls and always order an American Hot pizza as our main course. The service is usually quick, although occasionally they may be understaffed - which is common in the restaurant industry when you're unsure of the number of customers coming in. If possible, try to get a table by the window for a more relaxing experience. Overall, it's a great spot to visit while in Plymouth for the day or longer.
Have never really had a bad experince in this Pizza express, the venue is located just outside the heart of the main city centre and is always clean and tidy. The service is pretty good and the team are bubbly and friendly but I agree with the other poster about the venue sometimes being under staffed but this does happen in places like this. The food is good, if you are large pizza eater you will find you should get a starter and possibly a side to share I cant remember the name of the pizza I have but it has an egg in the middle and tastes great. It is worth a visit but not really a kids place in my opion they are better off in Pizza Hut
