Hands down the best Indian food I had personally in the USA.
Great food, good price, good service for lunch buffet. The ambience was missing something with the clutter around the restaurant. Otherwise, with the trip!
I don't often write 5 star reviews, but this is one of those times. Today's lunch buffet was the best meal of Indian cuisine I've ever had. Everything tasted great and was easy to medium to my sissy North American taste buds. Of the Indian families eating there, I was sure that I would be limited to 2 3 dishes that I could tolerate with a sip of water after every bite. I was a third through my first record when I noticed that I had not reached for my water once. Everything was good, but the butter chicken was the highlight for me. My bliss was to the point that several screams (with joy children only added to the atmosphere. I was a guest in a foreign country and this country has great food! I almost tried everything except the goat and everything was good. The only small distraction was the cost of the $15 lunch buffet. It is about the cost of most Asian buffets for dinner. But then they don't make memories like this place again.
I almost didn't go because of the negative reviews. I'm very glad I went. I figured I'd look at the buffet and decide. It looked good, so I stayed. The service and the atmosphere were both bad. So if those are always important to you, be aware. Just seat yourself. Go get a plate, and dig in. Silverware is on the buffet. And there was a cart with water pitchers and glasses. Easy. The food more than made up for the lacking service though. The goat curry was spicy and possibly the best Indian food I've had in years.
