Gus' Red Hots - Plattsburgh

Comfortable location and beautiful place. They are not allergy-friendly if you have very bad food allergies, but they try to be as accommodating as possible. You have a very large menu and the place itself is quite large. You have a take-out window if you do not want to go inside and they also have outdoor food where you can bring your dog. The interior was relatively clean, although the stand we were sitting was not the cleanest. The server was very nice and incredibly friendly. I ordered a fruit cup and it was a decent size, but the kiwi came up with the bowl. They had water bottles that were great. Everyone loved their food and it came out pretty fast. I would only not recommend this place specifically for gluten-free / vegan options.

I finally visited Gus' Red Hots on 5/20/22 for the first time. The waitress we had help and yet lacked that little bit you would expect, but she wasn't bad to say the least. As far as the food. My wife had tenders, fries, a salad and potato salad. I had French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. When I tell you, Holy-moly! The food was fantastic. Minus the silverware wasn't properly cleaned, but the food made it all worth while. I'm big on food and reviewing places. These minor things can be overlooked without a doubt! We will be back to try other dishes. Thank you to the staff and the cooks. Awesome job!

During our drive back to New York, we made a pit stop to indulge in some Michigan's, a local specialty that we can't find anywhere else. My stepfather reminisced about his time working for Adam's glass, recalling how he used to set windows many years ago. It was a heartwarming moment for him and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the restaurant.

Excellent traditional American diner with a welcoming atmosphere and tasty dishes. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. Perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Two seniors from the local area and two seniors from Arizona went out for dinner at this restaurant. We were warmly greeted and seated at a table of our choice. The server was friendly and took our order quickly. Our meals were served promptly and were all delicious. The overall dining experience was fantastic. Our friends from Arizona were particularly impressed with the restaurant's atmosphere. We highly recommend dining here with the whole family.
