Applebee's - Plattsburgh

Arrived for dinner (4 seniors) at 5:40 Thursday and waited for a table 10 minutes. Server arrived at our table within 5 minutes and returned to take our orders 10 minutes later. Our dinners took an exceptionally long time and arrived at 6:50. Server was pleasant and apologized for the delay. Appeared to be staff shortage and many open tables. Meals were good. Dining experience not as pleasant as expected.

The service was great. Could have used a little bit more mashed potatoes. Food was good.

Overall great experience. The restaurant was conveniently located. It was clean, and nicely laid out. The staff were very friendly, and personable. The food was delicious, with decent portions.

The food was good and friendly service. I don't like the payment system. I believe is tipping a waitress for good service but it should be my choice. The lowest option for a tip is 18% or go in the menu to calculate your own amount. Everywhere else I've been has a 15% option.

Took way too long to be seated even if less than half of a full capacity. Ordered shrimps but they ran out of seafood sauce, didn't mention it and only after receiving the dish and disappearing another 20mins to be told. Not the best experience this time
