While some dishes may be overpriced for the quality, the owner Mason ensures incredible food and a friendly, attentive staff. From hot dinners attractively served by friendly waitstaff to personalized tours of the restaurant and mine areas, the experience at this restaurant is delightful. Despite some minor issues like bland dressings and cold temperatures, the overall ambiance, service, and food make this a place worth visiting. Whether for a romantic Valentine's dinner or a fun St. Patrick's Day celebration, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience that will leave you satisfied.

Chicken was over cooked. Ceaser dressing was really bland. Ranch had way too much dill Waitress had to make 5 trips to get things right. The helper lady was really awesome. This place usually is good but for lunch it's very much a step down. Theflies here are really concerning.

I made reservations to have a birthday dinner here. To put this review simply, from the moment we walked in, our reservation was not correct. Then the food was very poor quality and overcooked. Our waitress had to be flagged down multiple times because shedidn’t check on us. After one disappointment after another, we finally expressed our concerns to our waitress, to whichcustomer service was extremely lacking, to put it nicely. I sent a detailed message to the restaurant privately, because I hadread some bad reviews for this place and the response from Smith Flat House was to please reach out to them first. But I haveyet to get a response, so here I am, writing an honest review. All this to say, we won’t be back another time. And I recommendgoing elsewhere for a nice dinner.
