We enjoyed the ambience and it felt like we were eating in a cave or mine. The food was good but I probably should have ordered a grilled item. The jambalaya risotto was ok. Plenty of parking. Definitely a nice place to have dinner.
It’s tough serving lots of guests on Thanksgiving and maintaining the food quality while serving a high volume of customers. My prime rib dish was fine, however my wife’s encrusted halibut dish was terrible, very dry and overcooked, a second try at the halibut was not as cooked but the ‘encrusted’ part was over bearing, you couldn’t taste the fish.
There was five of us. We got a nice table downstairs where the decor is really cool. The food was good. We all liked what we had. The service was very good.
