The food was amazing!! It was like I was back in Italy. Simona, the owner, could not have been more beautiful. The lasagna was one of the best I ever had. My son enjoyed the Pasta Amatriciana. (The smoked Guanciale was authentic and delicious! It wasn't an American bacon. The Prosecco was excellent and the Tiramisu was divine. Go! Dinner in Amoré Mio! You'll fall in love. What Paula C doesn't like about Amore Mio Italian Bistro:
The food was great however the servings were very poor- not like normal. Only 2 slices of bread for 3 dinners. No butter at all. The chicken was delicious but for 25$ just the breast alone. View all feedback.
Stumbled across this hidden gem (literally hidden and tucked away in the back of old placer) and found our new favorite Italian restaurant. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and personable, friendly hosts. Doesn?t get better than this!
Wonderful food: great service. We started with the bruschetta but ate most of it before I remembered to take a pic. The house Italian wine the owner recommended was delicious. I had the cheese ravioli and she did half beef ravioli as well. My son had the ravioli special. It?s the best ravioli I?ve ever had. They also brought two little biscotti with two tiny glasses of port at the end of the meal. Very nice touch: Wonderful place. I highly recommend.

Nice place to eat outside (if you have the option). It's next to a brook and I've seen reviews complain about the smell, but we didn't have this problem... maybe it depends on the day? The sauces are well made and they have some homemade egg noodles pastas that melt in the mouth. I don't think all the pasta is homemade, which would have been nice. Definitely welcoming atmosphere, friendly people, good Italian food. I would recommend it. I had seen on the site that it was under new management, so I can not say whether I experienced any changes in quality due to this.
We enjoyed the Cioppino Gnocchi with the mushrooms. So delicious! Real authentic and everything was done in the house. Great service and staff! And Dessert was sooo delicious!
