Apple Bistro - Placerville
Apple Bistro
Description
Perched in Apple Hill with a sweeping mountain-view patio, this hometown bistro serves hearty, homestyle breakfasts, burgers and house-made sauces with generous portions and gluten-free/vegan choices. Guests applaud the clean, family-friendly vibe, attentive staff and standout breakfast items, while common criticisms include uneven food quality, occasional cold or bland dishes and slow service at peak times. A public no‑mask policy and visible political decor have polarized patrons, making the spot charming to some and divisive to others.

I used to work here. They fired me for Wanting to wear a mask. I hope the owner never works in food again
Shut down by the county, don't have a valid health permit to sell food. Have been running the business taking COVID lockdown funds to pay the employees, but not giving it to the employees, massive fraud. More for the owners and less for employees, also if you eat here there are literally no inspections or requirements since it's not a licensed food establishment in El Dorado County.
Had a great breakfast, followed by Apple pie a la mode. Friendly staff, excellent service. Nice ambiance. Edit:Was really sad that they were such idiots during the worst of the pandemic. Pretty much shot themselves in the foot.
Love the management and all they do for their customers..food is amazing..huge servings...service was awesome. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20
