Take-out is generous and open late. Saved us when we rocked up at 21h00 and all other kitchens in town were closed. Good traditional Canadian-Chinese food. Extensive menu. View all feedback.
What Sam Keshvari doesn't like about Hoi Pun Restaurant:
My taste buds died after dining at this restaurant. We ordered 2 different dishes but they tasted the same (no flavors and super blande). Also the prices we paid were way too high for a place like this. View all feedback.
The food is great, lots of food, I had to ask for a doggie bag each time I dined there. Service is excellent and one of the best chinese restaurants I've eaten at. Highly recommend trying this place when in the Placentia area.
Had Combo #7 which was to include Chicken Chow Mein, but what I got was a stir fry of onions and chicken. No bean sprouts or any other vegetable that I could identify. The onions were so over powering I could not eat it. Disgusting. I should have complained but after a long day of travelling I just left.
Hoi pun was superb, food was hot and delicious as usual. Service is great. Always has an excellent time at Hoi Pun
We've eaten at Hoi Pun on a number of occasions while visiting the e Placentia area. The food is good and service quick. The best part are the egg rolls!! It's a must try when in the area.
We were really impressed with the food at this restaurant as we have had difficulty finding good Chinese restaurants in other parts of Newfoundland. We ordered carry-out and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ordered noodles and a combination meal for pretty reasonable prices.
