My wife and me had been hiking from Villa di Chiavenna to the mountain vilage of Savogno and then down along the waterfall of Acquafraggia to Borgonuovo, thus s... read more My wife and me had been hiking from Villa di Chiavenna to the mountain vilage of Savogno and then down along the waterfall of Acquafraggia to Borgonuovo, thus seeing en route the two top sights of the Italian part of the Val Bregaglia, besides Chiavenna itself. In Borgonuovo the bus stop closest to the waterfalls is the one called 'Bar Cascata ' (Waterfall Bar) after the nearby place of that name. The timetable for the bus to Chiavenna was missing, so we decided to sit down at one of the outdoor tables of the Bar 'Cascada. ' A quite friendly elderly man took the orders. My wife had an espresso, while I went for a glass of white wine. Together we shared a Panino with Ham, which had been warmed up. All quite good, but with 9 Euros rather on the expensive side in comparison to other places we had been to. The man also couldn 't tell, when the bus stops, which passes by once every hour, just saying in 5 to 10 minutes. In fact we then waited over half an hour.
